PlushBeds publishes a 15 percent affiliate payout on its own partner page, the highest rate among the brands compared here, and that relationship is one reason it is covered in depth on this site. PlushBeds trial and warranty, explained: 100 nights, 365 nights and an unsettled warranty

PlushBeds' own pages describe the Botanical Bliss trial and warranty in more than one way. This page sets out what each page says, which figures we rely on, and what to confirm before you pay.

None of this is a reason to avoid the mattress. On construction and certifications, the Botanical Bliss is the most complete organic latex mattress we compared. It is a reason to read the terms carefully and keep a written answer with your order.

The trial

Two different offers sit on the product page, and they are easy to merge by mistake.

The return trial is 100 nights. That figure is the one in the product page FAQ and in the product description, and the brand's sale terms add that you should sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights before returning it.

The 365 Night Comfort Guarantee is a firmness adjustment offer. Inside that year, PlushBeds will help you change the firmness of the bed you have, without the hassle of returning the whole mattress. It is a genuinely useful offer, and it is not a 365 night return window. It works because the cover unzips and the layers can be rearranged, so the feel at home is not fixed at the moment of ordering.

One section of the product page labels a money back offer at 365 nights, which conflicts with the 100 night figure elsewhere on the same page. We go by the FAQ and the terms, and we advise confirming the current trial terms at checkout before you pay.

Read carefully

The warranty

The product page title promises a lifetime warranty. Other official PlushBeds pages describe a 25 year warranty in detail, with full replacement in years 1 to 10 and prorated replacement in years 11 to 25, and the brand's sale page uses the lifetime wording again. Those cannot both be the governing term. Rather than repeat either figure as fact, we advise asking the brand which document governs your purchase and keeping the answer with your order confirmation.

The mattress itself may well outlast either term, since the brand states that organic latex mattresses can last 15 to 20 years or longer with proper care, but a warranty is a contract, not a material property, and it should be read as one.

Is the Botanical Bliss still worth buying?

Our pick

PlushBeds Botanical Bliss, for the materials and the adjustability

  • 100 night return trial
  • Separate 365 Night Comfort Guarantee for firmness adjustment
  • Warranty: confirm with the brand
  • Medium (5.5 of 10) or Medium Firm (8 of 10)
  • Who it is forAnyone who wants all latex and certified organic textiles, and the most latex for the money.
  • Who it is not forA buyer who wants a full year to return the bed. Avocado gives 1 year and Saatva Zenhaven gives 365 nights.
  • Honest weaknessThe paperwork, as this page explains.

The Botanical Bliss is latex from top to bottom and certified organic in both its latex and its textiles. The build is six layers: a GOTS certified organic cotton cover, GOTS certified organic wool, a GOTS certified organic cotton panel, a natural latex comfort layer, a GOLS certified organic latex comfort layer on the 12 inch model, and a 6 inch GOLS certified organic latex support core. There are no coils and no synthetic foam layers to soften over time.

You choose the height first, then one of two firmness levels. Medium, rated 5.5 out of 10 by the brand, is the one PlushBeds positions for side sleepers. Medium Firm, rated 8 out of 10, is positioned for back and stomach sleepers. Because the layers sit inside a zippered cover, the firmness can be adjusted under the brand's 365 Night Comfort Guarantee instead of returning the whole bed.

Questions buyers ask

Is the PlushBeds trial 100 nights or 365 nights?

The return trial is 100 nights. That is the figure in the product page FAQ and in the product description, and the brand's sale terms add that you should sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights before returning it. The 365 Night Comfort Guarantee is a separate firmness adjustment offer, not a 365 night return window.

Is the PlushBeds warranty lifetime or 25 years?

We state no term for it. The product page title promises a lifetime warranty, other official PlushBeds pages describe a 25 year warranty with full replacement in years 1 to 10 and prorated replacement in years 11 to 25, and the brand's sale page uses the lifetime wording again. Ask the brand which document governs your purchase and keep the answer with your order confirmation.

What does the 365 Night Comfort Guarantee cover?

Firmness adjustment. Inside that year, PlushBeds will help you change the firmness of the bed you have, without returning the whole mattress.

Do I have to wait before returning it?

The brand's sale terms say you should sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights before returning it.

How do other brands' trials compare?

Avocado gives 1 year, with returns after 30 days. Saatva Zenhaven and Birch Natural give 365 nights. Naturepedic gives 100 nights, with free comfort layer exchanges inside that window. The full comparison lists each brand's return fees.

Why does this site still recommend it?

On construction and certifications, the Botanical Bliss is the most complete organic latex mattress we compared. PlushBeds also publishes a 15 percent affiliate payout on its own partner page, the highest rate among the brands compared here, and that is one reason it is covered in depth on this site. It is not the reason it is our pick.

The short version

Buy it for the materials, with the terms confirmed

Read the trial as 100 nights for returns, with the 365 Night Comfort Guarantee as a separate firmness adjustment offer, and confirm the warranty term with the brand before you pay.
